At the start of the year I helped out a local non-profit preschool in my area with a fundraiser. I donated my time and skills to photograph the students, then the pictures where sold to the parents. I realized during this project that I really enjoy photographing young children. It comes easy for me interacting with the children because of the work I do teaching preschool. Go figure a preschool teacher is good at taking picture of kids! Who knew! These are just a few of my favorite, I have a few more I am going to add soon.

I had the joy of working with this tiny little girl, Lexie. She was born 7 weeks early, but don’t let her size fool you because she is feisty! Lexie’s Grandmother also wanted some pictures of her and Lexie. I am so in love with them.

Jilly Boo-In a Ottoman!

My babies seem to know when I have the camera out to take pictures. I was trying to take some hand held pictures of myself when Jilly started barking at me. I turned around to see her sitting pretty on my little ottoman, then i had a smart idea to see what would happen if i put her in the ottoman!

Hill Wedding

On a beautiful day in September two people finally pledged their ever lasting love to each-other. The day was about family, new and old coming together to celebrate this joyous time.

At the very end of the wedding before the bride and groom road off into the sunset, the grandchildren released all the balloons up into the sky in memory of Pauline’s father and Troy’s parents who where watching from heaven.

The thing that I love about bridal sessions is they are fun. I took Pauline and her hubby-to-be to a popular park to shoot some bridal pictures. It was the day before their wedding and the stress was high. Minus some last minute drama that Pauline handled over the phone, we had a blast shooting these pictures. I don’t think we ever stopped laughing!
